What exactly is Investeer?
Investeer is a tool made to better organize, manage, automate and visualise your existing cryptocurrency investments.
It connects to your broker (Binance,Kraken, Coinbase Pro) through an API key, and automates for you the desired actions on your portfolio.
With Investeer you can track your portfolio, rebalance your target allocation, have a clear view of your performances, and automate many time taking actions about crypto investment.

Why would I use Investeer?
If you are interested in personal portfolio management theory and techniques, Investeer will provide you with many handy features to manage efficiently your crypto portfolio investing.
For example instead of using a basic overview app or a manual Excel Sheet to track you cryptos, Investeer provides you with dynamic, detailed views and powerful automatable actions on your entire portfolio.

Is Investeer secure?
Security is our top priority.
We are using the latest technologies and industry standard practices to keep everything safe and sound:
- Our database is entirely encrypted, stored and replicated through a highly reliable MongoDB Atlas Cloud Service.
- Once API keys are entered in our systems, the private/secret key will never be sent back to the browser. Our servers will only decrypt your keys at run time in order to use them.
- Your API keys benefit from an extra layer of encryption to avoid pattern identification in the database.
- Your API keys are "permission restricted". We guide you through the process of giving Investeer only the minimal necessary permissions. It means neither us neither a potential hacker will be in capacity to withdraw your funds from your exchange.
- You have the possibility to setup a 2FA authentication for your Investeer account to add an extra layer of security.
- We charge you through Stripe which is a secure payment provider used by 100.000+ companies worldwide.
- All your data is carried along through HTTPS protocol with SSL encryption.

How can I ensure my money is not at risk?
Your money will never leave your exchange account.
As explained in the security section: When you create the API keys on your exchange (Binance, Kraken, Coinbase), you will be guided to set restrictions that will always prevent Investeer or a potential hacker to use your keys to withdraw your money.
Thanks to these restriction, even if a withdrawal is intented with the key, the exhange server will always refuse the operation as the keys do not have sufficient permissions.
We also recommend you to setup our 2FA (Two-Factor Authentication) functionnality to add an extra security layer to your Investeer account.
Regarding the trades passed on your account through Investeer, we ensure as much as possible that our algorithms are always up to date to do what they are intended to. We are using them too with our own money on the line.
In case something unexpected occurs (exchange server unavailable, exchange conversation protocol modified etc.), we will inform you as soon as possible.

Do I need to send my funds to Investeer in order to use it?
No. We do not accept any deposits of funds. Everything happens directly on your existing crypto exchange.

Can I withdraw my money through Investeer?
If you need to withdraw some funds, you will have to do it directly on your crypto exchange. Our service can not withdraw any funds from your accounts (see API keys restriction security from "Is Investeer secure?" question).
Investeer only connects to your exchange account to make the trades needed for your rebalancing and your strategies. Therefore your money is secured by your favorite crypto exchange.

How is my portfolio rebalanced by Investeer?
What is an ETF-like index ?
What we call an "ETF-like index" or "index" is the possibility to create a portfolio whose assets are dynamically rearranged given certain customised criteria. It can be for example: market capitalisation rank, specific sector or category, daily traded volume etc…
Is there an account minimum to have on my exchange?
It depends on the number of asset and their respective allocation in the portfolio.
All the crypto exchanges have a minimum trading amount of around $10.
If you try to build a portfolio with 100 different assets with a total portfolio value of $100, it will definitely not be enough money per coin to exceed the exchange trading minimums.
On the other hand, having a portfolio worth $100, split into two assets 50%-50% would likely do. But the same portfolio split 95% - 5% will not have enough money allocated on the 5% part of the portfolio to meet the minimum order execution requirements.
If you have a small account value, just don't diversify your portfolio or index too much.

Certain features are still currently in development stage. We will try to ship them as soon as we can. They are part of the core value proposition and the early vision. This is why they are already advertised on our website.
